Symptom · Perimenopause & menopause
Taken seriously. Evaluated properly. Options with the evidence.
Perimenopause can start years before periods stop, and its symptoms are routinely dismissed. The evaluation starts from the premise that what you're describing is real.

What the transition commonly brings
Hot flashes and night sweats
The classic symptoms — and the ones with the clearest evidence for treatment when it's appropriate for you.
Sleep that falls apart
Night sweats, 3 a.m. waking, and the fatigue and fog that follow.
Brain fog and mood changes
Among the most reported — and most dismissed — symptoms of the transition.
Weight that moves to the middle
Hormonal shifts change where weight is stored and how easily it comes off.
Low libido and vaginal dryness
Common, treatable, and rarely asked about unless you bring it up. We ask.
Bone and heart health
The longer-term stakes of the transition, which shape what a provider recommends and monitors.
The evaluation
What your provider looks at first
A free visit with a licensed provider who treats the transition as medicine, not a mood. History and timeline, the look-alikes, labs where they help, your personal and family history — then a plan you understand.
- ✓Your symptoms and timeline, including cycle changes
- ✓Thyroid, iron, sleep and medications that mimic hormonal symptoms
- ✓Labs only where they answer a question; cost shown before ordering
- ✓Personal and family history that shape which options are safe
- ✓Bone and cardiovascular risk factors
What we may offer, when it's appropriate
Sometimes that is hormone therapy. Sometimes it's a sleep or thyroid workup first. Sometimes non-hormonal options. The evidence review linked below says plainly what the data support.
What we won't do
- —Tell you it's 'just stress' or 'just aging.'
- —Sell a 'menopause stack' instead of evaluating you.
- —Overstate what testosterone does for women — the evidence supports one indication, and we say which.
Common questions
Do you prescribe hormone therapy?+
When a licensed provider determines it's appropriate for you — based on your symptoms, timeline, history and contraindications — yes. The decision follows the evidence: hormone therapy has a favorable benefit-risk balance for many women under 60 or within 10 years of menopause without contraindications, and risks differ by type, dose, route and timing. Your provider walks through exactly that.
Can I be seen by telehealth for this?+
Yes, in the nine states where our providers are licensed: Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas, Utah and Washington. In Texas, Florida and California, care is delivered with a collaborating physician as those states require. Phoenix-area patients can also be seen in person in Goodyear.
What does it cost?+
The Provider Evaluation is free — the $110 fee was removed. Labs are billed separately, only if needed, with the cost shown first. If ongoing care is appropriate, it's one all-in monthly price with no membership fee and the exact price disclosed before you pay. We do not bill insurance.
